Korea (Google Map Blog)

I decided to do my blog on Korea. Korea is an east asian region that is split into 2: North Korea and South Korea. The culture is what interested me. According to 2005 statistics compiled by the South Korean government, about 46% of citizens profess to follow no particular religion. Christians account for 29.2% of the population and Buddhist 22.8%. Islam in Korea is practiced by about 45,000 natives (about 0.09% of the population) in addition to some 100,000 foreign workers from Muslim countries.

How do we end world hunger?

January 5th, 2012 by · No Comments · Uncategorized

We often hear about people’s desire to solve world hunger, or to be able to feed the world and help alleviate the suffering associated with it. We all take our life and advantages for granted and don’t think about the people that don’t have it as good as us. Food and agriculture goes to the heart of our civilizations. Religions, cultures and even modern civilization have food and agriculture at their core. For an issue that goes to the heart of humanity it also has its ugly side. To solve this I think we could maybe just not waste food as much. I honestly don’t know any other way to end this.

Hello world!
